Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), started by the Embassy Group in 1996, completed 25 years of success in 2021. EIRS has played an important role in not just ensuring the survival of equestrian sports in India, but in cementing the country’s presence on the International stage.
Driven by the passion, unceasing dedication, and dream of Jitu Virwani, Chairman and Managing Director to build the finest equestrian academy in India and the team led by Silva Storai, Director - EIRS, EIRS today attracts top-talent from across the country. Over the years, our school has provided best-in-class infrastructure, training modules according to British Horse Society standards, quality horses and an international jumping arena, among many other features that makes it the leading choice for nurturing talent.
We have identified and developed various young athletes, given them access to world-class training, coaches and facilities, and created competitive leagues for these riders to participate – a testament to our growth is the incredible accomplishments of Fouaad Mirza, one of our riders, during the Olympics 2021. We can only look forward to more of our riders, and those around the country, following in his footsteps to reach the most prestigious international arenas.
The EIRS foundation is derived from the British Horse Society (BHS) standards. It has a 240-acre campus in Devanahalli, 27 km north of Bengaluru.
