Senior Manager – Business Development

Job Purpose:

Evaluation, management and follow through of proposals / bids for potential development opportunities presented to the COO’s office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preliminary screening of proposals
  • Coordinate with tax/legal for detailed structuring
  • Analytical evaluation of opportunities shown to the BD Team which involves in-depth modelling for transaction
  • Creation of business plans and budgets for deals. Development of detailed project proposal for Chairman & COO approval
  • Support for negotiation and closures for land possession
  • Coordination with finance and other teams for deal evaluation and closure process (Funding / investments for approved development projects)
  • Support due diligence (technical, corporate, financial, legal, title, and regulatory)
  • To analyze industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, and market share possibilities
  • Manage Team - Assigning deal/projects and provide guidance and expertise on ongoing evaluations and projects

Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • Qualified CA or MBA from A grade institute a must
  • 8-10 years’ experience
  • Proficiency in Financial Modelling (Property DCF Valuation, Investment Evaluation, Preparation of Pro-forma financial statements etc.)
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Powerpoint is a Must and sound knowledge of other MS Office applications and MIS/ business reporting systems.

  • Strong knowledge of finance concepts and real estate financial modeling & valuation
  • Deep understanding of real estate sector dynamics in India with a focus metro-cities
