One of our more recent initiatives is in developing Special Economic Zones (SEZs). Being designated an SEZ provides tremendous tax benefits to the companies located in them, as well as input cost benefits for extended periods of time. The tax breaks available under the SEZ scheme include Service Tax waiver, VAT waiver and Income Tax Exemption to name a few.

Located on Old Mahabalipuram Road, the Info Tech Corridor of Chennai, is Techzone, a 55-acre technology park. The proposed built-up area is close to 6.6 million sft of mixed-use development.

Facilities will include food courts, a fitness centre and ATMs. Techzone, Chennai, has been proposed for Special Economic Zone status.
